Policy Voices | AI and Democracy

We are excited to announce the launch of our new podcast series, Policy Voices: AI & Democracy! This six-part series delves into the most pressing issues at the intersection between AI and democracy, made ever more relevant in the biggest election year in human history, where half of the world’s population – some 3.7 billion people – have or will be going to the polls in 72 countries.

In this episode, we highlight the importance of cooperation between the United States and the European Union in addressing the complex interplay between AI, democracy, and human agency.

6. Final episode
In the final episode, we reflect on the key takeaways from the series and discuss the steps needed to shape the future of AI and democracy. We explore emerging technologies, evolving policy landscapes, and the critical role of public engagement. This episode concludes with a call to action for individuals, policymakers, and organisations to actively participate in the ongoing dialogue surrounding AI and its impact on democracy.
