Think Tanks Explained: Our Purpose and Impact – Discussion with students from the European Career Association of the University of Maastricht

On 13 November, we were delighted to welcome 30 bachelor’s and master’s students from Maastricht University’s European Careers Association (ECA) to our office.

During the visit, we discussed the role of a Brussels-based think tank, and the team shared their career paths in EU affairs. We reflected on the current challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the European policy landscape, democratic backsliding, and more.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to introduce our upcoming work with Voices4Choices on intergenerational fairness.

We are grateful for the students’ thoughtful questions and contributions; their insight and enthusiasm continue to serve as an ongoing source of inspiration for our work.
